Christmas Lights and Mistletoe Fair
The annual event, which this year is being organised by Morpeth Town Council and Sanderson Arcade, attracts hundreds of people, and will provide a fantastic shopping experience and some great entertainment throughout the day.
The ever popular Mistletoe Fair starts in the Town Hall at 11am giving you the opportunity to stock up on an excellent selection of gifts. There will also be a festive market with a range of stalls on Bridge Street, along with the traditional children’s rides, to keep everyone, young and old, entertained.
The highlight of the day takes place at 5pm, when all the lights will be switched on throughout the Town Centre and on the Christmas tree which stands in front of the Clock Tower
Afterwards, Ellington Colliery Band will be playing where you can join in with all of your favourite carols. Carol Sheets are provided so there is no excuse for not joining in!
Unfortunately due to social distancing restrictions this event will not take place this year.
