The Town Council are seeking public opinion of a potential development in Morpeth.

The Council are looking to carryout environmental improvements at Allery Banks. The land is currently owned by Karbon Homes and NCC, it is overgrown, has drainage problems and has become a fly tipping hotspot. The Town Council are proposing to take ownership of the land and carryout works which will alleviate seasonal flooding to the north of the site, and improve the condition and biodiversity of the area. This work will be undertaken sensitively so as not to negatively affect current valued features and habitats within the site. Detailed proposals outlining the improvements are in the document below.
