Government Roadmap out of Lockdown
The final stage of regulation relaxation has been delayed until 19th July, with a review on 5th July. https://tinyurl.com/ymjm9mdb
Some minor changes to rules take effect from 21st June affecting weddings and wedding receptions, wakes, care home visits and domestic residential visits for children. A limited number of “large events” are being piloted. North Tyneside has been identified as an area where the “delta variant” is spreading rapidly, so has some localised tighter restrictions https://tinyurl.com/3svwjfd9
Vaccination roll-out: All people are aged 21 or over are now being invited for first vaccination. Book online for appointments at the large NHS Hubs (like Centre for Life) or local some pharmacies (Health Hut Pharmacy & Clinic, Kirkhill or Wellway Pharmacy in Morpeth) https://tinyurl.com/3b448fzr
Local GP surgeries are finding take-up of first vaccination by younger people is low, so some are offering “drop in” jabs when they have vaccine stock in. Watch out for notices.
Inside Morpeth (Jun ’21) is out now. Download the (5.94 Mb) PDF https://tinyurl.com/2mp5m228
