Government Roadmap out of Lockdown:

· Only socialise indoors with people you live with or who are in your support bubble

· Up to 6 people or 2 households can meet outside

· Work from home if you can and minimise travel

Vaccination roll-out: All people are aged 40 or over, everyone who is clinically vulnerable, anyone who has a learning disability and all carers are now being invited for first vaccination. People over 70 are now being invited for second vaccination. Invites will come from both i) to book at the large NHS Hubs (like Centre for Life) and ii) (separately and a little later, depending on vaccine supplies) from your GP Surgery NEW iii) You can now book your vaccination online at Health Hut Pharmacy & Clinic, Kirkhill – available from 13th May. The Morpeth Chantry and Tourist Information Centre is open Mon-Sat 09:30-17:00. The shop is selling local art, craft and food including a range of products from Produced in Northumberland members. The Northern Poetry Library has been relocated to the rear of the main hall.

Mini Food Festival this weekend both Saturday & Sunday (with different traders on each day) on the Market Place. Street Food Market on May 22nd on the Market Place.

Local Elections: Votes for the County Council will be counted during the day on Friday, and for the town council on Saturday – so we won’t really get the full results till Sunday or Monday. The Town Council Mayormaking is Wednesday week (19th May).
