Vaccination roll-out: All people are aged 42 or over, everyone who is clinically vulnerable, anyone who has a learning disability and all carers are now being invited for first vaccination. People over 70 are now being invited for second vaccination. Invites will come from both i) to book at the large NHS Hubs (like Centre for Life) and ii) (separately and a little later, depending on vaccine supplies) from your GP Surgery. Farmers Market this Saturday 9am-3pm. Mini Food Festival next weekend (8th & 9th May) both on the Market Place.

Local Elections 6th May: Voters in each of the three Morpeth wards can vote for one County Councillor and five town councillors and have 1st and 2nd choice votes in the PCC elections. Postal voting papers have been sent out in two envelopes, with County & PCC ballots in one and town council ballots in the other.

Calmer Therapy have taken on the Stobhill Community Centre (formerly Boys’ Club) and will be opening on 27th June. https://tinyurl.com/vbmnuxr8

The two courts by the Carlisle Park Pavilion will be a multi-use games area available for hire for a range of activities. They have not yet been marked out for any particular sports yet and Morpeth TC would welcome suggestions. The courts will be floodlit so could be used into the evening.
