Tests for moving on to Step 2 (due 12th April at earliest)

1: Vaccine deployment continues successfully

2: Evidence that vaccination is effective in reducing hospitalisations and deaths

3: No surge in hospitalisations putting unsustainable pressure on the NHS.

4: Assessment of the risks is not fundamentally changed by new variants of virus

Vaccination roll-out: All over 50’s, people with long-term health conditions and their main carers are now being invited for first vaccination. Over 80’s are getting second vaccination. Invites will come from both i) to book at the large NHS Hubs (like Centre for Life) and ii) (separately and a little later, depending on vaccine supplies) from your GP Surgery.
