Targetted Community Testing for key workers now bookable at Ashington, Alnwick and Hexham. It is available to: childminders, early years staff nurseries; carers; local public or voluntary sector organisations like food banks; small businesses providing key services e.g. waste management, taxi firms, public transport, funeral directors; sole traders or self-employed people. Vaccination roll-out: If you are scheduled for a vaccination, you will be invited to a hub (Alnwick or Centre for Life, Newcastle), or you can wait to be contacted by your GP surgery and get vaccinated locally. https://tinyurl.com/y295dfh7 Over 70,000 people (about 21% of total population) have been vaccinated in Northumberland so far, and delivery is now moving on to the next priority group.
