We are in the Third Lockdown with review scheduled for mid-February but dependent on roll-out of the vaccination programme.

Critical Workers where people cannot work from home: This includes people who work in:
· critical national infrastructure
· childcare or education
· essential public services
Where it is necessary for you to work in other people’s homes eg nannies, cleaners or tradespeople, you can do so with strict protocols.
Vaccination roll-out: Letters are being issued to over-70’s to book appointment at Vaccination Hubs in Alnwick and at Centre for Life, Newcastle. Alternatively, you can wait to be contacted by your GP surgery and get vaccinated locally. Roadworks (antislip surface & replacing railings) on Curley Kews, involving traffic lights from 25th Jan for 5-15 days.
Overnight working on resurfacing at Mafeking Roundabout (road closed 22:45-06:45) for the next few nights. The Telford Bridge miniroundabout spot will also be repainted.
Weds Market and Farmers Market (Sat 6th Feb) are running though traders are choosing to attend at individual discretion. Covid19 protocol suggests just one customer per household goes to the market and encourages pre-ordering and collection from traders where possible.
Local Elections for the County Council and Town Council are due this May. NCC is sending out (on 28th Jan) letters everyone on the Electoral Roll offering postal vote registration.
