Market stalls selling food & drink are “essential” so are permitted under lockdown, so:
- The Wednesday Market will continue with food stalls through lockdown.
- Street Food Markets are scheduled for 28th Nov and 19th Dec with some (£45) pitches available – see https://tinyurl.com/y5u9gyde
- The Christmas Farmers Market will be on Saturday 5th Dec – with the range of stalls depending on the status of lockdown

Morpeth Lions are hoping to have a stall at the Farmers Market on 5th Dec. They are currently particularly looking for gifts suitable for 10 to 15-year olds for the Giving Tree. Look out for local businesses offering voucher schemes to give as Christmas presents – these vouchers not only hold a promise of better times to come – but give a cash flow boost to struggling businesses so they can keep going.
