There’ll be no Parade or public Wreath-laying Ceremony for Remembrance Sunday (8th Nov) this year. Instead the Town Council will be holding a small service (by invitation only to ensure social distancing rules etc) at the Cenotaph as it did for VE and VJ Day earlier in the year. This service will be streamed live with the link for this published next week. Organisations and individuals are invited to come to the Memorial lay their wreaths throughout the day after the service, observing social distancing precautions.
